There is a question that comes up in every first meeting with a new client, and it is always asked with the same worried tone: "So this system will keep taking money from us every year?"
That worry is not misplaced. Most ERP systems on the market — local and global — run on a subscription model: you pay every year, the price rises every year, every new user adds to the bill, and if you stop paying the system locks and your data goes with it. You are a tenant for life, never an owner.
At Hunt we chose a different route, and we will state it plainly and with numbers:
A maximum of EGP 60,000 — paid once, and the system is yours
The Hunt ERP perpetual licence costs a maximum of EGP 60,000 after discount, paid one time. No annual renewal, and no fees that appear out of nowhere a year later.
The word "maximum" matters, and it is deliberate: this is a price ceiling, not a flat price for everyone. The actual price depends on:
- How many modules your business genuinely needs (we do not sell you what you will not use)
- Number of users and branches
- How much customisation your workflow requires
A small company that needs sales, inventory and accounting will not pay what a factory with production lines and multiple branches pays. But however large your requirements grow, the ceiling is known and written down: EGP 60,000 after discount, once.
Coming soon: subscriptions at EGP 10,000 per year
We know not every company can pay a full licence upfront, especially companies still finding their feet. That is why we are preparing a subscription plan at EGP 10,000 per year.
It gives you the system fully running for a small annual amount, without the one-time licence cost. It is the logical choice if:
- Your company is in its first year and still testing the market
- You want to run the system on real operations before committing to a perpetual licence
- Your cash flow is seasonal and you prefer a small annual cost over a large one-off
Do the maths yourself: when does each one win?
We will not sell you a story. Take the numbers:
| Period | Annual subscription (10,000/yr) | Perpetual licence (60,000 once) | Cheaper |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 year | 10,000 | 60,000 | Subscription |
| 2 years | 20,000 | 60,000 | Subscription |
| 3 years | 30,000 | 60,000 | Subscription |
| 5 years | 50,000 | 60,000 | Subscription |
| 6 years | 60,000 | 60,000 | Break-even |
| 10 years | 100,000 | 60,000 | Licence (saves 40,000) |
| 15 years | 150,000 | 60,000 | Licence (saves 90,000) |
Break-even lands at six years — and that assumes the subscription price never rises, which is not a realistic assumption in any moving economy. Every annual increase pulls the break-even point closer in favour of the perpetual licence.
And these numbers use the licence ceiling. If your actual price after discount is below EGP 60,000, break-even arrives sooner.
The real difference is not only money
| Aspect | Annual subscription | Perpetual licence |
|---|---|---|
| Ownership | You rent — access depends on renewal | The system is yours after one payment |
| Price increases | Exposed at every renewal | Already paid — increases do not reach you |
| Financial planning | A recurring line in every year's budget | A one-off cost amortised over years |
| If you stop paying | Access stops | The system keeps running |
| Best for | New companies, or testing the waters | Established companies planning to stay |
The simple rule: if you expect your company to run for more than six years, the perpetual licence is cheaper financially and safer operationally. If you are still early, start with a subscription — you can move to a perpetual licence later.
No surprises on the invoice
What hurts companies most in ERP is rarely the headline price — it is the lines that appear after signing. So we say it upfront. What you pay includes:
- The full system with the agreed modules — not a stripped version you pay again to complete
- Free lifetime technical support — not a support contract renewed for a fee every year
- Training for your team
- Configuring the system around your workflow — we adapt to you, not the other way round
That last point is not a slogan; it is how we work, explained in detail in why your company should not change its workflow to adopt an ERP.
And for charities: we pay part of it with you
If you run a charity or a non-profit, this reads differently for you.
Receiving a lot in donations is no reason to spend it on software. The money in your hands is not yours — it is owed to people who need support, and every pound spent on anything other than the service is a pound delayed from the person who needs it. At the same time, a charity running on notebooks and spreadsheets cannot give you transparency, nor reports that reassure your donors, nor accurate tracking of cases and sponsorships.
That is why Hunt made this decision: up to 75% off the contract value for charities and non-profit organisations.
Three things about that decision matter:
- Any size. Large or small — the percentage is set by your size, the nature of your work and Hunt's own assessment, not by how hard you can negotiate.
- Off the contract value itself. A real reduction in the figure you pay, not a cosmetic discount on some side item.
- No expiry date. This is not a seasonal offer or a campaign that closes in two weeks — it is a permanent social commitment from Hunt, valid whenever you come to us.
Not a cosmetic discount — a real contribution, so the system never becomes a burden on the budget of the people it is meant to serve.
What the organisation gets is a complete management system: donations, sponsorships, cases and beneficiaries, stores and in-kind aid, accounting, and the financial transparency that strengthens donor trust.
Frequently asked
What exactly does the 60,000 include?
It is the ceiling price of the perpetual licence after discount, covering the system with the agreed modules, setup, training, and free lifetime technical support. The final price is set once we understand exactly what your company needs.
If I start on a subscription, can I move to a perpetual licence?
Yes. Start on the annual subscription, and once you are confident in the system and in your own continuity, switch to the perpetual licence.
Are there hidden costs after installation?
Technical support is free for life, and there are no renewal fees on the perpetual licence. Anything outside the agreed scope (new custom development, for example) is quoted and agreed before it is built — not after.
When will the EGP 10,000 subscription be available?
Very soon. Priority will go to companies that register their interest early.
In short
- Perpetual licence: a maximum of EGP 60,000 after discount, paid once, and the system is yours
- Annual subscription (soon): EGP 10,000 per year if you prefer to start light
- Break-even: six years — after which the licence saves you money every year
- Free lifetime technical support either way
- Charities: up to 75% off the contract value — a permanent commitment with no expiry date
